Consignment Terms

This are examples of the provisions that may be included in Forms:

1. Retained Fees:
a) General Merchandise: Sixty percent (60%) of the sale proceeds shall be retained by (Your Shop).
b) Furniture (cribs, chairs, etc): Fifty percent (50%) of the proceeds shall be retained by us.

2. Liability: We assume no liability for the loss, damage to or destruction of any item consigned.

3. Imperfect Merchandise in need of repair or cleaning may be donated without notice to you. Donation receipts available on request only.

4. Pickups: You must give a minimum of (time period) notice before pickup and will be responsible for pulling all things to be picked up. You must pick up all unsold items within three (3) months from the date of consignment or renew for another 90 days. All unsolds not picked up after the end of the contract period will become the property of (Your Shop).

6. Renewability: This Consignment Agreement is renewable once only. The maximum consignment length is (duration).

7. Reductions: All consignments may be subject to a price reduction at our discretion.

8. Consignment payments will be voided 180 days after termination.

9. Consignment Checks: Checks are issued monthly after the 15th for the prior whole month.

10. Record Keeping and Follow-Up Calls: It is your responsibility to maintain all records of consigning and call not less than once a month after the 15th to confirm sales, pickups and contract termination.

11. All transactions and resolutions to disputes will take place in (city, state).
